Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic automotive team as a Tire and Lube Technician, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional vehicle maintenance and repair services. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work with a variety of vehicles, utilizing your mechanical skills and automotive knowledge to ensure customer safety and satisfaction. As a key member of our service department, you will perform tire services, oil changes, fluid replacements, and minor mechanical repairs with precision and enthusiasm. Duties Perform tire rotations, replacements, balancing, and repairs to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety Conduct oil changes and replace automotive fluids such as coolant, transmission fluid, brake fluid, and power steering fluid efficiently Assist with wheel alignments to improve vehicle handling and tire longevity Diagnose basic mechanical issues using automotive diagnostics tools and communicate findings effectively Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform minor mechanical repairs and vehicle maintenance tasks Support the service team by conducting vehicle inspections, identifying maintenance needs, and recommending additional services when appropriate Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols during all service procedures Qualifications Previous dealership or automotive service experience is highly preferred Semi tire experience highly preferred Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance Familiarity with standard passenger car operation and basic mechanical repair techniques Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and automotive diagnostic equipment Ability to perform heavy lifting safely as part of tire installation or other mechanical tasks Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly Experience with alignment services, oil changes, fluid replacements, and minor mechanical repairs is desirable Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience in sales or upselling additional services is a plus Join us in delivering top-tier automotive care!
