Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automotive repair, diagnostics, and maintenance, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves diagnosing complex vehicle issues, performing repairs, and ensuring vehicles are maintained to the highest standards. Prior dealership experience and familiarity with a variety of vehicle systems are highly valued. The position offers an opportunity to work with diverse vehicle makes and models, including GM vehicles, and to develop advanced mechanical skills in a professional environment. Duties Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles (engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, electrical systems, etc.) Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, inspections) Identify mechanical issues accurately and efficiently Test-drive vehicles before and after repairs Maintain a clean and organized work area Keep service records and report needed repairs Work closely with management to ensure vehicles meet dealership standards Skills Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or technician Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Knowledge of vehicle systems and repair tools Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Valid driver's license ASE certification is a plus (but not required)
