Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Mechanic to join our dynamic manufacturing facility team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial equipment and systems to ensure optimal operational efficiency. Your expertise will help keep our production lines running smoothly, minimize downtime, and uphold safety standards. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and possesses a strong foundation in mechanical and electrical systems, with a passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment using precision measuring instruments and schematics. Diagnose electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical issues utilizing electrical diagnostic tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters. Troubleshoot complex equipment failures by analyzing electrical systems, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HVAC/R systems, and industrial machinery. Conduct welding ( welding as applicable), hydraulic system repairs, and mechanical adjustments to restore equipment functionality. Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and control system diagrams to facilitate accurate repairs and modifications. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document maintenance activities, track work orders, and manage inventory levels. Collaborate with engineering teams on troubleshooting efforts, equipment upgrades, or installation projects to enhance operational performance. Qualifications Proven experience in an industrial mechanic role within a manufacturing facility environment. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical diagnostics, and troubleshooting techniques. Hands-on experience with electrical systems including electrical blueprint reading and electrical maintenance procedures. Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, HVAC/R systems, scissor lifts, and industrial maintenance practices. Ability to operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters accurately. Skilled in welding ( welding if applicable), equipment repair, and troubleshooting pneumatic systems. Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics effectively. Good communication skills in English to coordinate with team members and support customer service initiatives when needed. From $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 50.0 per week
