Job Description
Job Summary Slaughter's Diesel and Automotive is looking for an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join our growing team in Huntsville, Texas. This is not an entry level position. Previous automotive service advisor experience is required. We are looking for someone who already understands how to manage customers, write estimates, present repair recommendations, and keep repair orders moving efficiently. We will train you on our systems, software, and processes, but we are not hiring someone with no advisor experience. As the primary point of contact for our customers, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience while helping our team achieve its production goals. Responsibilities Greet customers professionally and accurately document their concerns Build repair estimates and confidently present recommended services Communicate with technicians to ensure repairs are completed accurately and efficiently Keep customers informed throughout the repair process Manage repair orders from vehicle drop off through delivery Recommend maintenance and repairs based on technician findings while maintaining honesty and integrity Schedule appointments and help manage daily workflow Follow up with customers after repairs to ensure complete satisfaction Requirements Minimum of 2 years of automotive service advisor experience required Applicants without previous automotive service advisor experience will not be considered Strong sales and customer service skills Ability to explain technical repairs in a way customers understand Excellent communication and organizational skills Experience with shop management software is preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Positive attitude, professionalism, and a team first mindset Diesel repair knowledge is a plus but not required What We Offer Monday through Friday schedule No weekends Performance based pay with excellent earning potential Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Paid training on our systems and processes Ongoing professional development Employee discounts Opportunity for advancement in a rapidly growing company If you're an experienced service advisor looking for a shop that values professionalism, teamwork, and long term career growth, we'd like to talk with you.
