In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. Your mechanical skills and knowledge of automotive systems will be vital in delivering top-tier service for both standard passenger cars and complex vehicle systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge diagnostic tools and automotive technology while contributing to a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately across various vehicle systems. Repair and maintain engines, including diesel engines, powertrains, and engine components, ensuring optimal performance. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems effectively. Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, alignment adjustments, and general mechanical repairs. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely for disassembly, repair, and reassembly of vehicle components. Diagnose and repair automotive electrical systems, including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) features. Heavy lifting and manual handling of vehicle parts are required to facilitate repairs efficiently. Collaborate with team members to ensure all repairs meet dealership or company standards while providing excellent customer service. Skills Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience with a strong understanding of automotive repair processes. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics and familiarity with automotive electrical systems. Knowledge of ADAS technology, schematics interpretation, and automotive wiring diagrams. Skilled in diesel engine repair, engine system repair, and powertrain maintenance. Ability to read and interpret automotive schematics accurately for troubleshooting purposes. Experience working on GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus but not mandatory. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by the ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment effectively. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and professionalism. Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, and working in various environmental conditions.
