In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. Your technical expertise and commitment to quality work will play a key role in delivering reliable service and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with service advisors and other team members in a fast-paced, professional environment. Responsibilities Perform diagnostics and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including issues related to engines, brakes, suspensions, and electrical systems. Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks. Inspect vehicles for safety and mechanical concerns, and communicate findings to service advisors. Accurately document work performed and parts used in repair orders. Use diagnostic tools and repair equipment safely and effectively. Stay current with vehicle technologies and repair procedures through ongoing training. Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with shop safety standards. Collaborate with service team members to ensure timely and efficient repairs. Experience Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or technician in a professional repair shop or dealership. Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing common vehicle issues, including shocks, struts, engine problems, and electrical faults. Familiarity with using diagnostic equipment and repair software. Strong understanding of automotive systems and manufacturer specifications. Experience performing routine maintenance and comprehensive vehicle inspections. ASE certification or equivalent training is a plus.
