Key Responsibilities:

• Inspection and Diagnostics:

• Conduct thorough inspections of recreational vehicles to identify maintenance needs and potential issues. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, using specialized tools and equipment to pinpoint problems accurately.

• Repairs and Maintenance:

• Perform a wide range of repairs and maintenance tasks on various types of RVs, including motorhomes, travel trailers, and fifth wheels. This may involve working on engines, brakes, awnings, slide-out systems, and HVAC systems, among others.

• System Installations:

• Install new systems and components as needed, such as solar panels, satellite systems, and towing accessories. Ensure all installations meet industry standards and customer specifications.

• Customer Interaction:

• Provide clear and professional communication with clients to understand their service needs, explain repair processes, and deliver updates on the status of their vehicles. Offer recommendations for preventative care to enhance the longevity and performance of their RVs.

• Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and time spent on each job. Generate detailed service reports to ensure transparency and customer satisfaction.

• Safety Compliance:

• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

Stay informed about industry regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an RV technician helper or in a related field is preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Working Conditions:

• This position may require standing, bending, and lifting heavy objects.
• Work may be performed indoors in a well-equipped service bay or outdoors, depending on the task.
• Occasional travel may be necessary for on-site repairs or assessments.
