Apprentice Mechanic / Service Technician

Compensation:

$12 - $20 / Hour Overview Our Apprentice Mechanic / Service Technician is responsible for performing high-quality maintenance and some minor repairs on medium and heavy-duty vehicles. This role ensures safety, customer satisfaction, and efficient operations by following established repair procedures and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Key Responsibilities Routine and preventative maintenance repairs and minor repairs Use location tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics. Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for our customers. Doing preventative maintenance repairs - like replacing or rotating tires - and complete vehicle component lubrication and replacement, some electrical system repairs, and cooling system maintenance on diesel engines vehicles, refrigeration equipment, lift gates and trailers. Partnering with your managers to learn new skills using technician training and hands-on coaching. Working on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
