Your keen technical aptitude and collaborative spirit will be instrumental in maintaining a well-functioning fleet. You'll excel in this role if you enjoy strategic decision-making, juggling multiple tasks, prioritizing safety, and working closely with diverse teams. Works under the direction of the Fleet Director to coordinate, implement, and monitor the management and preventive maintenance program for the fleet of vehicles and related equipment Oversees the establishment of preventive maintenance and necessary repair schedules for all vehicles and related equipment and maintains service records of repairs Confers with management to obtain and/or provide information pertaining to vehicle availability, usage, maintenance, repair, etc. as needed Oversees the addition and removal of drivers to insurance policies, distribution of insurance cards Assists in handling of vehicular insurance claims Monitors and ensures compliance with federal (DOT/OSHA/TOSHA), state, and city policies and procedures as it relates to vehicle maintenance and safety Monitor and assure compliance with all DMV requirements including but not limited to titles, registrations, tags, etc. Monitor, assign, and facilitate fuel cards in our fueling system Overseeing and organizing the daily fleet repair schedule, preparing schedules and recaps of work done Manages asset tracking of all company equipment and vehicles Monitoring any assets, parts, or chemicals being transferred from location to location. Monitoring any phone calls received for driver complaints Assisting fleet mechanics with any office duties as needed Experience in the following software a plus: Fuel Man, Eptura/ManagerPlus, OneStep GPS
