Description/Notes:

Under the direct supervision of the Principal, the Automotive Teacher will provide instruction in the basic techniques of the automotive industry; prepare students for immediate entry into the automotive industry or to continue studies at post-secondary institutions; plan, develop, organize and conduct aprehensive automotive program for secondary students; perform other related functions as required.

Qualifications:

Industry experience or bachelor's degree Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or related training and work experience for certification waivers under the District of Innovation Plan (DOI) Demonstratedpetency in the core academic subject area assigned

Salary Range:

Placement on the Teacher salary schedule, $52,565.00•76,065.00 based on 0-26 years of creditable experience. Navasota ISD contributes $325/monthly to employee only health insurance plans.
