Job Description

Automotive Reconditioning Technician Sewell Ford Lincoln The Sewell Family of Companies is seeking a Reconditioning Technician to join our team, the individual will be responsible for inspecting, analyzing and troubleshooting vehicles & equipment to determine if further service work is required or recommended.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Recondition vehicles for pre-owned sales Receive repair orders from the dispatcher Perform work as outlined on the repair order efficiently and accurately by dealership and factory standards Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform the repair Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required. Notify the service advisor immediately if additional work outlined is not needed or required and if repairs cannot be completed within the specified timeframe Keep documentation of all work performed Road-test vehicles when necessary or refer to the test technician Keep the shop area neat, clean and be able to always account for all dealership owned tools Must follow all company safety policies and procedures and immediately report any accidents to a manager or supervisor
Schedule:
Monday- Friday 7:30am-6pm and assigned Saturdays 8am-5pm
Skills & Requirements:
High school diploma or GED Valid driver license and acceptable driving record Background and drug screening Ability to multitask
