The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in vehicle repair and maintenance, with a strong focus on diagnosing and repairing a wide range of automotive issues. This role involves working on various vehicle makes and models, including domestic and foreign vehicles, and requires a solid understanding of automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, and mechanical systems. The Automotive Mechanic will ensure vehicles are serviced efficiently and to the highest standards, providing excellent customer service and maintaining safety protocols. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and other mechanical components. Service vehicle systems including oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and wheel balancing. Repair or replace automotive electrical systems, alternators, starters, and wiring harnesses. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex problems Conduct maintenance tasks such as fluid replacements, filter changes, and routine inspections. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete repairs efficiently. Maintain detailed records of repairs performed for each vehicle. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Experience Proven experience or extensive background in automotive repair is preferred. Strong knowledge of engine repair, powertrain systems, transmissions, and vehicle maintenance. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics software and electrical systems troubleshooting. Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction.
