The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with a focus on delivering exceptional service to our customers. This role requires expertise in diagnosing and repairing various vehicle systems, including powertrain and electrical systems. A commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction is essential. Duties Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics to identify issues and recommend appropriate repairs. Conduct routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. Repair and replace automotive components such as transmissions, engines, and electrical systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs in a timely manner. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to understand vehicle systems and procedures. Collaborate with service advisors to provide accurate auto estimates for repairs. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly about repairs needed and completed. Skills Experience preferred for familiarity with specific vehicle brands and models. Proficiency in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair. Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, including troubleshooting techniques. Experience with diesel engine repair is advantageous. Ability to perform alignments and other specialized services as needed. Welding skills are beneficial for certain repair tasks. Previous service technician experience is highly valued.
