In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial equipment and systems to ensure optimal operational efficiency. Your expertise will help prevent downtime, enhance safety, and support continuous production processes. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and possesses a strong foundation in mechanical and electrical systems with a passion for problem-solving and technical excellence. Duties Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment using precision measuring instruments, schematics, and electrical blueprints. Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues involving hydraulics, pneumatics, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and electrical systems to identify root causes swiftly. Conduct equipment diagnostics with tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other testing devices to ensure proper functioning of electrical circuits. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document maintenance activities, track work orders, and schedule future repairs. Repair or replace components including motors, belts, gears, valves, sensors, and wiring while adhering to safety standards like stick welding and HVAC/R procedures. Read and interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering troubleshooting manuals to facilitate accurate repairs. Collaborate with team members on troubleshooting pneumatic systems and electrical systems to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance. Requirements Proven experience working in a manufacturing facility environment with a strong understanding of industrial maintenance practices. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot electrical diagnostics using tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and electrical blueprint reading skills. Hands-on experience with HVAC/R systems, hydraulic systems, pneumatic troubleshooting, welding (stick welding), and industrial mechanic tasks. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, and engineering troubleshooting techniques. Knowledge of industrial electrician practices including electrical system repair, electrical maintenance procedures, and electrical safety standards. Ability to read technical schematics and blueprints accurately for effective repairs. Excellent analysis skills combined with customer service orientation to communicate effectively with team members and support operational needs. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by experience in equipment troubleshooting and repair across various industrial settings. Valid certification or experience in the use of precision measuring instruments such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters; familiarity with scissor lifts is a plus.
