This position will work under the supervision of experienced technicians to gain hands-on experience and learn the necessary skills to become a fully qualified technician. The day-to-day tasks of an apprentice technician may include: Duties Conduct vehicle maintenance and repairs Conducting routine inspections with videos and photos for the customer Assisting in carrying out diagnostic tests Undertaking general repair work Undertaking statutory training as may be required manufacturer Skills Proficient in vehicle maintenance practices Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Ability to read and interpret repair orders Must have the ability to lift 50lbs Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on building rapport with clients. Knowledge of minor automotive skills Experience using power tools safely in an automotive environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
