Duties Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Use hand tools, power tools, and airless spray equipment to remove old paint, rust, or imperfections from vehicle surfaces Perform auto body repairs such as dent removal and surface straightening to achieve a smooth foundation for painting Apply primer and filler materials with precision, ensuring proper coverage and surface integrity Conduct thorough inspections of prepared vehicles, verifying surface smoothness and masking accuracy before painting begins Assist with auto glass installation or replacement as needed during the prep process Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and environmental standards Experience Previous dealership experience or auto body repair background highly preferred Knowledge of auto painting techniques including airless paint spraying and buffing methods Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and auto restoration processes Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as auto estimating software or heavy lifting gear Experience with auto glass installation or repair is a plus Ability to perform detailed detailing tasks and operate auto painting equipment confidently Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and clients when necessary Embark on a rewarding career where your craftsmanship makes a difference!
