JOB SUMMARY

Ascend Staffing is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic in Sunnyvale, TX. This position is responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance, repairing and rebuilding machinery, diagnosing mechanical problems, and maintaining equipment records.

JOB DUTIES

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery and mechanical systems Rebuild and repair machinery and equipment Assemble mechanical components according to specifications Examine machines and perform diagnostic tests Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems Maintain work logs, repair records, and maintenance documentation Monitor inventory and recommend parts for ordering Provide guidance on maintenance and preventative procedures

QUALIFICATIONS

Maintenance or warehouse experience preferred High school diploma or GED Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen Ability to pass a background check Must be authorized to work in the United States Strong interpersonal and communication skills Good attention to detail Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 75 pounds occasionally Reasonable accommodations may be available for qualified individuals with disabilities
