In this role, you will perform advanced repairs and diagnostics on a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will help maintain our reputation for excellence by delivering top-tier automotive repair services. Duties Conduct comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Perform repairs on powertrain components including transmissions, engines (including diesel engines), and drive systems with precision and efficiency. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools to execute repairs and maintenance tasks. Service and repair ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) features such as lane departure warnings, collision avoidance systems, and parking assist sensors. Perform wheel alignments, vehicle maintenance, and suspension work to ensure optimal vehicle handling and safety standards. Interpret technical schematics and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot electrical issues in GM vehicles and other makes/models. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly, offering recommendations, and ensuring a positive experience throughout the service process. Experience Dealership experience or equivalent in a fast-paced automotive repair environment is highly preferred. Proven experience with automotive diagnostics, including electrical systems, powertrain components, transmissions, and diesel engines. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive service machinery. Familiarity with ADAS calibration procedures and vehicle alignment techniques is advantageous. Knowledge of automotive estimating processes and familiarity with auto estimating software is a plus. Demonstrated ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately. Service technician experience working on GM vehicles or similar brands is desirable but not mandatory.
