Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive service, with a focus on maintaining and repairing vehicles to the highest standards. This role requires proficiency in using hand tools, diagnosing issues, and providing exceptional customer service. Experience with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and diesel engine repair is a plus. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of vehicles, ensuring quality workmanship. Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical issues accurately. Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess their condition and recommend necessary repairs. Work collaboratively with team members to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding vehicle issues and repair options. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, including ADAS systems, to enhance service capabilities. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle. Assist in training junior technicians as needed. Qualifications Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician in a dealership or independent shop setting. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various automotive systems. Familiarity with diesel engine repair is advantageous. Experience working with hand tools and diagnostic equipment effectively. Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating professionalism and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Certification from an accredited automotive program is preferred but not required.
