Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology Uphold company values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors Qualifications Previous experience as an automotive technician/mechanic (dealership preferred) High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver license in the state that you will work and a good driving record National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification(s) or certification(s) in different specialized areas such as brakes, electrical/electronic systems or engine performance preferred Excellent customer service skills Professional appearance and work ethic Must pass background check, MVR, and drug screening Group 1 Automotive , a Fortune 250 company, is a leading operator of automotive dealerships and collision centers across the United States and United Kingdom.
