In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and basic inspections, to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to quality work. This position offers an opportunity to develop your automotive repair skills within a dynamic and professional environment. Duties Perform oil and filter changes efficiently while adhering to manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Conduct tire rotations, inspections, and basic wheel alignments to maintain vehicle safety and handling. Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as fluid top-offs, belt replacements, and battery checks. Use hand tools and power tools accurately to complete service procedures. Identify potential mechanical issues during routine services and communicate findings effectively. Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure proper disposal of used fluids and parts. Support the service team with additional repairs or diagnostics as needed, gaining hands-on experience in automotive repair. Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and addressing customer questions professionally. Skills Prior dealership or automotive repair experience is highly desirable. Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive diagnostics and vehicle maintenance. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment. Experience performing oil changes, tire services, alignments, and basic repairs. Knowledge of automotive systems and ability to identify mechanical issues accurately. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Physical ability for heavy lifting and prolonged standing during service procedures. Basic sales skills to recommend additional services or maintenance needs. Commitment to maintaining safety standards and quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment.
