Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, listen carefully to their vehicle concerns, and gather detailed information about their service needs Write clear, comprehensive repair orders and estimates using automotive estimating software Communicate effectively with technicians to understand vehicle diagnostics, mechanical issues, and repair procedures Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, suspension work, or transmission servicing to enhance vehicle performance and safety Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, repair details, and parts used while managing cash handling responsibilities when necessary Explain repair recommendations clearly to customers, ensuring they understand the scope of work and associated costs Follow up with clients post-service to ensure satisfaction and foster long-term relationships Requirements Proven experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or Service Writer in a dealership or auto repair environment Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive diagnostics, collision repair, transmissions, oil changes, brake systems, suspension components, air brakes, shocks & struts, tire service, and other automotive repairs Proficiency with estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally Dealership experience is highly preferred; familiarity with auto service management systems is a plus Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience in auto sales or upselling is advantageous Mechanical experience or background as a service technician enhances your ability to understand vehicle issues deeply Join us if you're passionate about automotive excellence!
