In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicle systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service to our customers, keeping their vehicles running smoothly and reliably. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools and schematics to identify issues with various vehicle systems. Repair and maintain powertrain components, including engines, transmissions, and drive axles, ensuring all work meets manufacturer specifications. Conduct vehicle suspension system repairs and alignments to optimize handling and safety. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams accurately to troubleshoot electrical systems and install or repair wiring as needed. Service and repair advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) to enhance vehicle safety features. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform repairs efficiently and safely. Communicate clearly with customers about repair needs, timelines, and maintenance recommendations to ensure excellent customer service. Requirements Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics, including the use of diagnostic tools and schematics. Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems such as powertrain, electrical, suspension, steering, brakes, and transmission systems. Experience working on GM vehicles or similar makes is preferred but not required. Ability to interpret automotive wiring diagrams and electrical system schematics accurately. Hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance, including diesel engine repair and vehicle transmission system repair. Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Proficiency in using automotive electrical systems, alignment equipment, and power tools.
