The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in various automotive repairs, including diesel engine repair and auto body repair. This role requires a commitment to providing excellent customer service while ensuring vehicles are maintained and repaired to the highest standards. Duties Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on a variety of vehicles, including diesel engines. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs, such as oil changes, brake replacements, and tire alignments. Execute auto body repairs, including welding and structural adjustments as needed. Utilize hand tools and automotive service equipment effectively to complete repairs. Maintain accurate records of services performed and communicate with customers regarding their vehicle's condition. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques to enhance skills. Qualifications Proven experience in automotive repair, with a focus on diesel engine repair preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues accurately. Proficiency in using hand tools and automotive service equipment. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Certification from an accredited automotive program is a plus but not required.
