The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and the ability to work with various hand tools. The Manager will play a crucial role in providing excellent service to our customers while maintaining high standards of quality. Duties Perform oil changes and fluid checks, including engine oil, transmission fluid, coolant, and brake fluid. Inspect vehicles for any signs of wear or damage and report findings to the service technician. Utilize hand tools and equipment to conduct routine maintenance tasks effectively. Assist in diagnosing automotive issues and recommend necessary repairs or services. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, ensuring all tools are properly stored. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients about services performed. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow in the shop. Qualifications Previous experience as a service technician or in a dealership setting is preferred but not required. Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices and automotive repair techniques. Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed during vehicle servicing. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics is a plus. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A valid driver's license is required. Willingness to learn new skills related to automotive service and sales.
