The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive service, particularly with GM vehicles. This role requires proficiency in reading schematics and using power tools to perform various maintenance and repair tasks. The Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance of vehicles while providing excellent customer service. Duties Perform routine vehicle maintenance and repairs, including powertrain services. Utilize schematics to diagnose issues and align vehicle components accurately. Operate power tools safely and effectively for various repair tasks. Conduct thorough inspections of GM vehicles to identify potential problems. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Execute welding tasks as required for repairs or modifications. Qualifications Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive service. Familiarity with GM vehicles is highly desirable. Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately. Proficient in the use of power tools and equipment related to vehicle maintenance. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating professionalism and courtesy. Previous experience in vehicle maintenance or repair is preferred but not mandatory.
