Overview Join our dynamic automotive service team as an Automotive Technician and become a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle care! In this role, you'll leverage your mechanical expertise and technical proficiency to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicle systems. Whether working on engine performance, transmissions, electrical systems, or suspension components, you'll ensure each vehicle meets the highest standards of safety and reliability. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately across various vehicle systems. Repair and maintain powertrain components, including engines, transmissions, and drive systems, ensuring optimal performance. Conduct vehicle suspension system repairs and alignments to enhance handling and safety. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems effectively. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools to execute repairs efficiently. Service diesel engines and work on complex automotive electrical systems with precision. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Requirements Proven dealership experience or service technician experience with a strong understanding of automotive repair procedures. Familiarity with schematics, automotive wiring diagrams, and advanced diagnostic techniques. Experience working with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) technology and automotive electrical systems. Mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance, powertrain components, transmissions, and vehicle suspension systems. Ability to interpret automotive diagnostics data accurately using specialized tools. Proficiency in auto estimating processes and familiarity with GM vehicles is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication abilities for effective customer interactions.
