Job Summary Whitten Ashland is Growing! We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Detail Technician to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for thoroughly cleaning, detailing, and enhancing the appearance of vehicles to ensure customer satisfaction and uphold our high standards of quality. Your energetic approach and dedication will help deliver a polished, pristine vehicle every time. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in vehicle care while contributing to a positive customer experience. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive cleaning and detailing of vehicles, including washing, vacuuming, interior cleaning, and polishing. Conduct buffing and polishing to restore vehicle paintwork and achieve a smooth, glossy finish. Apply window tinting films accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper adhesion and appearance. Operate car wash equipment safely and effectively to prepare vehicles for detailing. Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, and trash removal. Assist with basic custodial tasks to ensure the shop environment remains organized and professional. Drive company vehicles as needed for vehicle transportation or customer service purposes. Qualifications Previous experience in car wash, detailing, or custodial work is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude toward clients and team members. Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting, and detailed handwork. Basic knowledge of vehicle cleaning products, tools, and techniques such as buffing and window tinting is advantageous. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record to operate company or customer vehicles safely. Experience in janitorial or custodial roles demonstrates attention to detail and reliability. Willingness to learn new skills related to vehicle care and maintenance.
