Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of industrial equipment and machinery within a manufacturing environment. Your expertise will ensure optimal equipment performance, safety, and reliability across our facilities. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about technical troubleshooting, hands-on repairs, and continuous improvement in industrial maintenance operations. Responsibilities Conduct thorough diagnostics and troubleshooting of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems using schematics, electrical blueprint reading, and precision measuring instruments. Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on industrial machinery, including HVAC/R systems, scissor lifts, and other equipment critical to production processes. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, track maintenance activities, and manage inventory of parts and tools. Repair and maintain electrical systems involving low voltage wiring, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial electrician tasks, and electrical troubleshooting. Execute welding tasks using welding techniques to repair or fabricate metal components as needed. Troubleshoot complex equipment issues by analyzing system diagrams, schematics, and engineering troubleshooting guides to identify root causes. Collaborate with field service teams and provide excellent customer service by addressing technical inquiries efficiently and professionally. Requirements Proven experience working in a manufacturing facility or industrial environment with a strong understanding of industrial mechanics and maintenance practices. Proficiency with CMMS software for work order management and maintenance tracking. Hands-on experience with HVAC/R systems, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, electrical diagnostics, and equipment troubleshooting. Ability to read schematics, electrical blueprints, and engineering diagrams accurately. Skilled in welding ( welding preferred), electrical blueprint reading, and the use of precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and low voltage testers. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial electrician practices, and electrical systems maintenance. Strong analysis skills combined with excellent problem-solving abilities to quickly identify issues and implement effective solutions. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to team members and clients alike. Valid certification or experience in HVAC/R systems is highly desirable. Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment while adhering to all safety protocols related to industrial maintenance operations.
