Competitive Flat-Rate Pay based on Experience and Tech Competencies $16 to $60 an hour Join Our Chevrolet & GMC Certified Service Team We're seeking an experienced and motivated Chevrolet/GMC Service Technician to join our dealership. Position Summary As a Chevrolet/GMC Service Technician, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain Chevrolet, GMC, and other General Motors vehicles while providing exceptional workmanship and customer satisfaction. You'll work with the latest diagnostic technology and receive ongoing GM factory training to advance your skills and certifications. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on Chevrolet and GMC vehicles. Diagnose engine, transmission, electrical, drivability, HVAC, suspension, and brake system concerns. Complete warranty, recall, and customer-pay repairs according to GM factory standards. Utilize GM diagnostic equipment and service information to accurately identify and repair vehicle issues. Perform multi-point inspections and recommend needed maintenance and repairs. Document repair procedures, findings, and completed work accurately. Collaborate with Service Advisors and Parts personnel to ensure efficient repair completion. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Stay current with GM training, certifications, and emerging vehicle technologies, including electric vehicles. Qualifications Previous automotive technician experience required. GM, Chevrolet, GMC, or ASE certifications preferred. Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills. Experience using OEM diagnostic equipment and repair information. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to work independently while contributing to a high-performing team.
