Automotive Mechanic

About the Role We're looking for an experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our team. This is a hands-on role where you'll be diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, but just as important, you'll be part of a shop that takes pride in doing things the right way. Our owner has been in the industry for over 30 years and still genuinely enjoys the work. That mindset carries through the whole shop. What You'll Be Doing You'll handle a mix of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance work. Some days that's tracking down electrical issues, other days it's turning wrenches on brakes, suspension, or engines. We see a wide range of vehicles, so being comfortable thinking through problems and working through them step by step matters. You'll also be working with customers at times, explaining what's going on in a way that makes sense and helps them make the right decisions for their vehicle. Typical Work Includes Diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues using proper tools and schematics Repairing engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and steering systems Routine maintenance like oil changes, tire work, alignments, and fluid services Working on ADAS systems, shocks and struts, and general safety-related repairs Using shop tools and equipment safely and efficiently Reading and applying service information to solve problems the right way What We're Looking For Solid experience as a mechanic with strong diagnostic ability Comfortable working on a variety of vehicles (GM experience is a plus, not required) Good understanding of electrical systems and drivetrains Ability to read schematics and work through more complex issues Experience with alignments, suspension work, and general service work ADAS experience is a bonus, but not required A valid state inspection license is preferred Valid driver's license and a clean record ASE certifications are a plus, but not a deal breaker What Matters Most Here We're not looking for someone who just wants to get cars in and out. Pay:

$16.00 - $25.00 per hour
