Engine and Transmission Technician Mechanic-5 Years Experience

We are a very busy repair shop looking for an experienced skilled Auto Technician to maintain and repair vehicles. We specialize in transmissions and engine swaps. Responsibilities Conduct routine maintenance work, general automotive repairs to include brakes, oil changes. Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks) General automotive knowledge. Engine and Transmission experience is a plus. Skills Proven experience as auto mechanic, 5+ years minimum on the job experience. Excellent knowledge of mechanical components of vehicles. Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc. Excellent physical condition High school diploma is preferred; Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is preferred Valid certification (e.g ASE) is a definite plus
