In this energetic role, you'll utilize your mechanical expertise to diagnose, repair, and service a wide range of vehicles, ensuring safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Whether working on gasoline engines, diesel powertrains, or advanced automotive electrical systems, you will play a crucial role in keeping vehicles running smoothly and efficiently. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostics tools and schematics to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, steering, and electrical components. Service and replace tires, shocks & struts, brake pads, oil filters, and perform oil changes to maintain optimal vehicle performance. Repair diesel engines and work with advanced ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) for modern vehicle safety features. Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently for repairs, welding, and component replacements while adhering to safety standards. Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to execute precise repairs on complex automotive systems. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring vehicles meet safety standards before returning to customers. Skills Proven dealership or automotive repair experience with a strong mechanical knowledge base. Expertise in automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, powertrain components, and auto body repair. Familiarity with ADAS calibration, air brake systems, transmissions, wheel alignments, suspension work, and tire service. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive estimating software. Ability to work with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus; experience with diesel engine repair is highly desirable. Strong understanding of schematics for electrical wiring diagrams and mechanical systems troubleshooting.
