Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Technician to join our service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicle systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive mechanics and a commitment to delivering quality service to our customers. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including brake systems, alignments, and suspension components. Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and provide effective solutions. Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements. Replace or repair brake pads, rotors, calipers, and related components to ensure vehicle safety. Perform wheel alignments to improve vehicle handling and tire longevity. Service suspension systems, including shocks, struts, control arms, and related parts. Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used. Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and maintenance schedules. Experience Prior experience working as an automotive technician or in a similar role is preferred. Knowledge of brake systems, wheel alignments, and suspension repairs is essential. Familiarity with diagnostic tools and automotive repair software is advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is typically required.
