RV Service Technician

Job Summary Johnson Family RV is small New & Used RV and camper dealership. We also service a wide range of travel trailers, campers, rvs, and motor homes. We're looking for someone to join our team as an RV Service Technician and become a vital part of delivering exceptional camper maintenance and repair services. In this energetic role, you will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of RV systems and components, ensuring our customers' adventures are safe, reliable, and enjoyable. Your expertise will help keep our clients on the road with confidence, providing top-tier service that exceeds expectations. Hours are Monday-Friday 8-5pm Duties Inspect and perform basic diagnostics and repairs on campers, including mechanical and electrical as well as interior surfaces and exterior accessories. Conduct mechanical repairs such as engine, transmission, suspension, shocks & struts, brakes, HVAC systems, and plumbing components. Execute routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to ensure optimal performance. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering techniques, and heavy lifting to complete repairs efficiently and safely. Conduct assembly and equipment repair tasks for various RV parts and accessories. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Requirements Any dealership experience or service technician experience in automotive or RV repair environments is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repairs. Electrical experience with automotive electrical systems and wiring troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with transmissions, oil changes, tire service, alignment procedures, suspension work, shocks & struts repairs, HVAC systems, brake repair, plumbing, welding and soldering techniques. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate a variety of hand tools and power tools effectively. Experience working with diesel engines and auto body repair is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Any mechanic certification or relevant technical training preferred; dealership or automotive repair shop background is a plus. Pay:

$15.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
