Job Description
Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive service and repair, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and provide exceptional service. As a Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction while managing service operations efficiently. Service Advisor or Manager experience is required. Responsibilities Greet customers and assess their vehicle service needs, Writing repair orders, organization, great communication and follow through with excellent customer service skills. Utilize knowledge to covey recommendations and recommend appropriate services. Manage service writing tasks, documenting customer requests and technician recommendations accurately. Upsell additional services based on customer needs and vehicle condition, enhancing overall customer experience. Collaborate with service technicians to ensure timely and effective completion of repairs. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of services performed. Provide estimates for repairs and maintenance, ensuring transparency in pricing for customers. Maintain a clean and organized service area while adhering to safety protocols. Requirements Previous experience in a dealership as An advisor is required. Strong understanding of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and vehicle maintenance practices. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers. Experience in upselling services and products related to automotive repair. Familiarity with auto estimating processes and service writing techniques. Knowledge of various automotive systems including air brakes, alignment, suspension, tire services, diesel engine repair, shocks & struts, and auto body repair is advantageous. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively. Cash handling experience is required.
