Job Description
At Freedom Nissan, we are committed to provide an exceptional customer experience and we know that starts with our most valuable resource - our employees We are seeking a reliable, detail oriented individual to join our team and work directly with our Service Team. The Automotive Service Technician is responsible for swiftly and accurately performing automotive repairs. To be a successful candidate, you will have a Level A certification, be self motivated, take pride in a job well done and the ability to work weekends. Qualified Candidates could be eligible for a $3,000.00 sign on bonus Responsibilities Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures Diagnose, maintain and repair vehicle automotive systems including (but not limited to) engine, transmission, electrical steering, alignment, suspension, brakes and air conditioning. Perform vehicle inspections Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, etc. Test -drive vehicles, and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment. Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services needed Provide and estimate of time needed for additional repairs Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications. Requirements Previous Automotive Service Technician experience required Must have your own tools ASE Certification a plus Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment Valid Drivers License Basic computer skills Enjoy working in a dynamic environment ability to collaborate effectively
