293300296 Job Description Overview Join our dynamic team as a Recreational Vehicle (RV) Technician and become a vital part of delivering exceptional service to our customers. Responsibilities What You'll Do This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time. Perform advanced diagnostics, inspection, and repair of RV systems (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC repair, appliance repair, and more) Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks to ensure top performance Test drive RVs and confirm all systems are functioning at peak quality Educate customers on RV operations, maintenance, and best practices Education/Experience High school diploma or equivalent Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, etc. Certified Technician certificate (RVTI preferred) Discuss repairs and additional service requests with service advisors Plan work procedures in cooperation with the shop foreman Monitor repair time and update RV service advisor regularly Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on RV care and operation Complete story and documentation for all repairs Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations (such as disposal of hazardous waste) Ability to learn through audio, visual, and hand-on training Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area Requirements Proven dealership experience or service technician background working with recreational vehicles. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in RV diagnostics, electrical systems. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly about technical issues to clients. What We're Looking For
License & Certifications:
Valid driver's license and good driving record is required
Experience:
3+ years of experience in RV diagnostics and repair preferred Experience in advanced diagnostics, HVAC repair, and appliance repair a plus
Abilities:
Strong mechanical and technical skills, with the ability to work independently or collaboratively Able to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs; must meet OSHA safety requirements Additional skills such as plumbing knowledge, soldering expertise, equipment repair experience, auto body work proficiency, or sales experience are considered a plus.
