Job Summary Join our dynamic automotive team as a Service Advisor, where you'll be the vital link between our valued customers and our skilled technicians. Duties Welcome customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs Prepare accurate estimates using estimating software, including auto estimating, collision repair, and mechanical diagnostics Recommend additional services through effective upselling techniques such as oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, shocks & struts, air brake systems, transmissions, diesel engine repairs, and more Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services Manage service writing processes efficiently while maintaining detailed records of all transactions Handle cash transactions securely and accurately while providing exceptional customer service throughout the process Skills Proven experience as an automotive service advisor or in auto service management Familiarity with automotive diagnostics and repair procedures Proficiency in estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to customers Ability to upsell effectively by identifying customer needs for services such as oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, suspension work, brake repairs, and more Knowledge of automotive repair specialties including collision repair, transmission systems, diesel engines, air brakes, shocks & struts, and auto body repair Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; willingness to drive company vehicles when necessary Strong sales skills combined with outstanding customer service orientation Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining professionalism under pressure Join us as an Automotive Service Advisor and become an essential part of a team dedicated to delivering top-tier automotive care.
