Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, and steering. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to interpret vehicle wiring diagrams and repair procedures effectively. Repair or replace powertrain components, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and perform wheel alignments to ensure vehicle safety and performance. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools to complete repairs efficiently. Conduct vehicle inspections to assess mechanical condition and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance services. Ensure all work complies with dealership standards, safety regulations, and manufacturer specifications while delivering excellent customer service. Requirements Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive repair and service technician roles. Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics, ADAS technology, transmissions, diesel engines, and powertrain components. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics tools and auto estimating software is highly desirable. Mechanical knowledge complemented by proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment machines. Ability to diagnose complex issues related to GM vehicles or similar makes; familiarity with diesel engine repair is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Valid mechanic license or certification as required by local regulations; ongoing training in automotive technology is preferred.
