We are seeking a high-performing leader with 3+ years of service management experience in the RV, automotive, or marine industry to uphold the quality and reputation of our service department. This role offers a competitive base salary plus an aggressive, uncapped commission structure.
Core Responsibilities Lead Operations:
Oversee daily workflow for technicians, advisors, and parts staff at Valley RV Supercenter.
Drive Efficiency:
Maximize shop billable hours, minimize comeback rates, and hit monthly revenue goals.
Jayco Brand Standards:
Ensure all repairs comply with Jayco manufacturing standards and quality guidelines.
Customer Champion:
Resolve complex client issues swiftly to maintain a high Net Promoter Score (NPS).
Warranty Management:
Process, submit, and audit Jayco factory warranty claims accurately and efficiently in conjunction with warranty processor.
Team Development:
Recruit, mentor, and schedule technicians to build/grow a highly skilled workforce. Earn RVTI certificate for Level 2 in order to be eligible to teach and train the course on site. Must become RVTI trainer/test proctor.
Staff/Team Member Compensation:
Develop staff compensation plans per position. Service advisors, service technicians, and parts staff members.
Requirements Proven Track Record:
3+ years managing a high-volume service department (RV experience preferred).
Technical Expertise:
Strong knowledge of RV systems, structural repair, and body repairs.
Warranty Experience:
Familiarity with manufacturer warranty platforms and pre-authorization procedures. Proficient with warranty claims process in collecting warranty reimbursement from the manufacturer. I.E Flat rate manual, warranty coding, submission.
Software Literacy:
Proficiency with Dealer Management Systems (DMS) like Tekion, Lightspeed, Dealertrack or similar. Proficiency with office software such as Excel/Google Sheets, Word/Google Docs.
Professional Standards:
Excellent communication, strong negotiation skills, and a valid driver's license. Must be drug free. Must be groomed and exhibit a professional appearance daily.
Financial/Accounting Literacy:
