Automotive Service Advisor

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive services. Your expertise in customer service will help guide customers through their service options, ensuring they receive the best possible care for their vehicles. You will play a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction and driving sales within our service department. Looking for someone who can multitask and stay calm under pressure. Duties Greet customers promptly and professionally, providing exceptional customer service. Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate automotive services based on vehicle maintenance requirements. Prepare detailed service estimates and communicate them clearly to customers. Manage service writing tasks, including documenting customer requests and service history. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services and repairs. Follow up with customers regarding their service experience and address any concerns. Maintain an organized workspace and ensure all documentation is up-to-date. Stay informed about new automotive technologies, repair techniques, and industry trends. Skills Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair processes, on-job training available. Proficiency in service writing and auto estimating to provide accurate quotes to customers. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Effective communication skills for transmitting information between customers and technicians. Sales acumen to promote additional services that enhance vehicle performance and safety. Experience in cash handling to manage payments securely. Familiarity with automotive sales processes is a plus.
