This position is ideal for an experienced technician who enjoys working independently while providing exceptional service directly at customer homes and businesses. As a Mobile Service Technician, you'll operate one of our fully equipped Mobile Service vehicles, performing maintenance, light repairs, recalls and warranty work while delivering a convenient, dealership-quality experience wherever our customers are. Previous automotive service experience is preferred. ASE certifications are valued, and Ford certifications are a plus. Represent Bickford Ford professionally while servicing vehicles at customer homes and workplaces. Prepare and organize daily appointments and service routes. Perform maintenance, repairs, recalls and warranty work efficiently and accurately. Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and the Parts Department to ensure timely repairs and customer updates. Accurately document all inspections, repairs and services performed. Stay current with Ford technical service bulletins and required training. Safely operate and maintain a company-provided Mobile Service vehicle. Work outdoors when necessary in varying weather conditions. Qualifications Automotive service technician experience preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. ASE certifications preferred. Ford certifications are a plus but not required. Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities. Comfortable using tablets, diagnostic equipment and other technology. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.
