Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on powertrain components, transmissions, diesel engines, and other mechanical systems with precision and attention to detail. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive service tools to execute repairs efficiently. Reassemble vehicles following repair procedures, ensuring proper alignment and adherence to manufacturer specifications. Complete vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake replacements, tire rotations, and wheel alignments to uphold safety standards. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical systems. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Assist with auto estimating processes by assessing vehicle conditions and recommending necessary repairs or maintenance. Maintain detailed service records and ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards. Experience Proven dealership experience or extensive background as a professional automotive technician. Hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing automotive electrical systems, transmissions, powertrains, and diesel engines. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics software and schematics for efficient troubleshooting. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment machinery. Knowledge of ADAS calibration procedures and automotive electrical systems is a plus. Excellent customer service skills combined with auto estimating experience to deliver top-tier service solutions.
