Your expertise in automotive diagnostics, repair procedures, and sales will help customers understand their vehicle needs while promoting additional services to enhance vehicle performance and safety. Responsibilities Greet customers promptly and professionally, listening carefully to their vehicle concerns and service requests Accurately document vehicle issues, maintenance history, and customer needs using auto estimating software Explain repair recommendations clearly, including details about transmissions, brakes, suspensions, oil changes, alignments, tire services, diesel engine repairs, shocks & struts, air brakes, and auto body repairs Upsell additional services by highlighting benefits such as improved safety, reliability, and vehicle longevity Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services Handle cash transactions securely while maintaining accurate records of all service orders and payments Maintain comprehensive knowledge of automotive repair procedures to answer customer questions confidently Requirements Proven dealership experience or auto service management background with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and repairs Hands-on mechanic experience or service technician background is highly desirable Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally Familiarity with auto estimating tools and automotive service writing practices Knowledge of various vehicle systems including transmissions, oil changes, auto body repair, alignment, suspension, tire service, diesel engines, shocks & struts, brake repair, air brakes, and other mechanical components Ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining integrity and customer trust Experience with cash handling and sales within an automotive environment is preferred Embark on a rewarding career where your automotive knowledge fuels customer satisfaction!
