Job Title:
Automotive Technician Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced automotive technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing vehicle issues accurately and efficiently, performing routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs, as well as handling various automotive repairs. The technician must have a strong understanding of automotive systems and be capable of working independently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This role offers an excellent opportunity for those passionate about vehicle maintenance and repair to grow their skills in a professional environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform detailed diagnostics to identify vehicle problems using specialized tools and equipment. Conduct routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and replacements. Repair or replace faulty parts such as brakes, suspension components, exhaust systems, and other automotive parts. Test vehicles after repairs to ensure proper functioning and safety standards are met. Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used. Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations during repairs. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs needed and answering customer questions. Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as an automotive technician is required. Strong knowledge of automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components. Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills to interact with team members and customers. Relevant certifications such as ASE certification are preferred but not mandatory. (PAY
