Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled oil change technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and have experience in automotive repair, particularly in performing oil changes and routine maintenance services. This role is essential for ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality service and effective communication. Responsibilities Perform oil changes and fluid checks on a variety of vehicles. Utilize power tools and diagnostic equipment to maintain and repair vehicles. Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues. Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and recommendations for additional maintenance. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored. Assist with heavy lifting as needed during vehicle servicing. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow within the service department. Stay updated on automotive technologies and repair techniques to enhance service quality. Requirements Proven mechanical knowledge, preferably with experience in a dealership or automotive service environment. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics and repair processes. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Experience using power tools safely and effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties. A valid driver's license is preferred. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work as part of a team.
