We are a Chevrolet-Ford-Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep-Ram dealer in Neillsville, WI. Our automotive service center needs another reliable Automotive Body Technician to join our team. We operate one of the finest and most efficient auto body repair shops in the area, and we require excellence of our devoted staff. We are looking for someone that is ready to start with the basics and have the opportunity to grow and advance. We offer competitive salaries and generous benefits. Special Purchase Discounts Automotive Body Technician Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist the other body techs in prepping and tearing down of damaged vehicles Repair and restore vehicles to pre-accident condition, following the written repair order Approaches repair planning with a sense of urgency and detail to avoid waste and rework later in the process. De-trims and assembles vehicles, putting parts on parts carts. Performs pre-pulls to make repair versus replace decisions. Assists in identifying and sourcing parts as necessary. Performs quality repairs without passing on defects. Communicate with dispatch office, parts department and the Body Shop Manager Maintain a working knowledge of current industry best practices in automotive body repair Maintain legible and accurate paperwork for both the customer and for our records Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety Continue Training on
Auto Body Repair Automotive Body Technician Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED required ASE certification is a plus Willingness to participate in in-house training Ability to operate all auto repair tools Knowledge of tools and equipment Dealership Information The Gross Auto Group has been in business since 1956.
