- Automotive Technician / Mechanic - Full Time Viking Auto | Stoughton, WI
- Viking Auto is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our growing team in Stoughton, Wisconsin.
- Competitive pay: $20-$60+ per hour based on experience and productivity

- Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on domestic and import vehicles
- Accurately diagnose drivability, electrical, and mechanical concerns
- Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
- Utilize diagnostic equipment, scan tools, and specialty tools as needed
- Document findings, repairs performed, and recommended services
- Conduct vehicle inspections and communicate repair needs clearly
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and shop standards
- Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional automotive technician experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Knowledge of automotive systems including engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brake, electrical, and HVAC systems
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- ASE certifications are a plus but not required
- Diesel, performance, and aftermarket experience is a plus
