Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated GM Automotive Technician to join our team or any make certified technician. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and a passion for vehicle maintenance. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a variety of automotive issues while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires proficiency in using hand tools and power tools, as well as the ability to read and interpret schematics. Must be GM certified. must have valid drivers license. Responsibilities Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. Diagnose and repair automotive systems such as engines, transmissions, and electrical systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and maintenance tasks. Align wheels and adjust suspension systems to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Communicate with customers regarding their vehicle issues and provide clear explanations of services performed. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through ongoing training. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive service. Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals related to vehicle repairs. Excellent customer service skills to effectively interact with clients. Familiarity with dealership operations is a plus but not required. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Experience with various hand tools and power tools used in automotive repair.
